Jen06/03/2023Brilliant birthday party We came to Ropeworks for my son's 7th birthday party and he had a brilliant time, as did all his friends & their parents! It was the perfect venue & very well organised. The children did the low ropes course and the instructors were excellent - very patient with children who were uncertain, and very good at giving challenges to the older children or the others once they'd been round a couple of times. My daughter in particular enjoyed their silly behaviour. Parents were able to go round on the course for no extra cost if they wished. There is a room for snacks & drinks, with plates and cups and juice provided. We also paid for marshmallows round the fire at the end which was great fun. Booking the party was easy and the instructors on the day were very helpful and laid back. Highly recommend this venue.Verified
Keith J21/02/20233 hours well spent Took my 3 teens here during half term , where they spent the next 3 hours undertaking the vast number of challenges put to them, all under the watchful eye of an excellent and funny instructor called Cai. As there was nobody else booked with us, we finished the course sooner than expected, so we were offered additional challenges or revisit some already done, which the kids gratefully accepted.Clearly, the team here enjoy what they do and it showed. Jonathan27/08/2022Excellent Wales past with my 9 and 6 year old girls and my youngest fancied it. Customer service and welcoming environment happened from the start. We did the high ropes, leap of faith and a swing. Mel our instructor was excellent and really nice to my daughters. Lovely family experience and the staff made it betterVerified

Cerianne W21/08/2022Super friendly instructor, low ropes perfect for our 5 year old Had a great experience on the low ropes course with our 3 and 5 year olds. Youngest was a bit nervy but got around the course with support. My 5 year old flew around 4 times in the hour slot and had to be dragged away! Instructor was brilliant - encouraging, friendly, and set my daughter lots of challenges on her subsequent rounds to make it more exciting. Good value for money, making memories they'll be talking about for a long time.Verified
LT16/08/2022Superb instructor Fantastic experience. Alys was so encouraging with my son and levelled the playing field by blindfolding my older and more confident daughter. Perfect! We also visited Zip World Fforest to do their Tree Hoppers course and there was a huge contrast in staff approach. Alys at Ropeworks, Llanberis, couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. If you’re choosing between, this is the hands down winner.Verified
Nomadicdave15/08/2022Thrill-seekers Well organised and exciting experience for 6 to 11 year olds. The youngest did the low ropes, but 7, 8 and 11 did high ropes and enjoyed it (some parts more demanding than the ropes in Zipworld Fforest. Big swing was an added, unexpected bonus.

Great for a range of ages and in the words of my son – ‘Better than Go Ape’!
It can sometimes be difficult to find activities for a whole family with a range of ages contained within, but this definitely fitted the bill.
My 9 and 7 year old boys did the high ropes course whilst my 5 and 3 year old girls did the low ropes course (with their Daddy – who was not expected to pay to accompany them which is a great touch).
The staff were fabulous. Helpful, friendly, approachable, fun, encouraging and inspired confidence! All the children had a wonderful day, rose to the challenges and felt like they’d really achieved something.
My son’s face on the giant swing was priceless (in a good way!), so I even got my money’s worth as a spectator!
Great day out. Would highly recommend and we would definitely return if back in the area.
Boys had a blast. Staff were great. Calming when needed and encouraging throughout. Brilliant day
